Fans of The Wheel couldn’t believe an answer a contestant gave to a Liverpool-based question on tonight’s episode of the show.
The second season of the popular BBC gameshow returned last week – and tonight Michael Mcintyre welcomed three new contestants and seven new celebrities – who each came with their own specialist subject.
TV presenter AJ Odudu featured on the show as an expert on the North – which meant players could be asked a question on this category at some point in the episode.

This moment arrived when Dean, a school teacher from North London, was asked ‘Which of these northern landmarks is the largest?’
The options were either ‘Angel of the North, Blackpool Tower, York Minster or the Royal Liver Building’ – and the wheel picked Olympian Greg Rutherford to give the player some help.
The gold medallist tried to talk through the question with Dean – but both didn’t seem to recognise the iconic Liverpool landmark.
The athlete said: “The Royal Liver Building? Do you know what that is?”

The duo eventually opted for the Liver Building after ruling out Blackpool Tower on the basis that it was ‘too obvious.’
The decision was criticised by Chris Ramsey when the answer was revealed to indeed be Blackpool Tower.
The comedian said: “I put Blackpool Tower. I thought it was obvious because I thought it was right.”
And fans of the show took to Twitter to agree with the 34-year-old comic.
John said: “You can see Blackpool tower from the moon man #TheWheel”
Greg tweeted: “Liver Building? Are you mad?!!! #TheWheel”
Alika commented: “It’s Blackpool tower it’s like over 150m tall”
Dean put in an impressive showing for the rest of the show as he ended up taking home £82,000
