An Asian restaurant in Manchester is a hot spot for vegans in the city thanks to the number of plant-based dishes on its menu.
Tampopo, located on Albert Square opposite Manchester Town Hall, has been praised by locals in the area for its meat-free offerings, with meals taking inspiration from East Asia’s favourite street snacks.
And it’s not just the food diners are loving, it’s the cocktails too. It serves some absolute classics including a pina colada, Aperol spritz and a bellini.
Rating it five stars, 2Chill user Ella Glover said: “Tampopo is my favourite Asian-style restaurant in Manchester!
“Situated on Albert Square, this restaurant is the smaller of the two in the city centre.
Ella’s review of Tampopo on 2Chill
“They have a long list of vegan options, including the Sticky Tofu which was my favourite.
“It’s very authentic with shared tables – great if that’s your thing.
“The cocktails are also gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. Service was fast and reliable – as always.”
With the Albert Square restaurant being the original Tampopo, which also has venues in the Corn Exchange, Trafford Centre and one in London, its shared tables means it caters to not only groups, but also solo diners.
