Fast food giant McDonald’s has made a huge summer announcement to anybody who eats its food.
The popular burger chain has confirmed it is releasing five brand new menu items to get Brits in the BBQ spirit – but it does mean that some items have been removed from the menu to make room.
Today McDonalds launched its brand new BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese for £5.09.
Made with 100% British & Irish beef, two slices of melted cheese, fresh onions, pickles and the delicious combination of ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce, it’s a must-try for all burger fans.

What’s more, the delicious new creation is also available as a Double BBQ Quarter Pounder for £6.09 – so meat lovers can really get their fix.
Sadly cheese lovers will have to wave goodbye to the Mozzarella Dippers once again, however it’s not all bad news as you can say hello to the tasty new Garlic Cheese Bites also launching.
The cheesy bites are available in both a single portion of five for £1.89, or you can opt for the share box for £5.09 for those feel-good summer sharing moments.
It’s time to say goodbye to the Aero Chocolate and Aero Mint McFlurry but, there’s two popular flavours returning to the menu from tomorrow.

The Mars and Twix McFlurries are back in town and boy have we missed them. Both will be available in Regular (£1.49) and Mini (99p) sizes for a limited-time only.
The new additions join the McSpicy which launched on 14th July and is currently selling fast.
Made from a chicken fillet with a spicy coating, on a bed of crunchy, cool lettuce and mayo, between toasted sesame seed buns – The McSpicy has been heating up the summer after appearing ‘Live & Direct’ in the music video for AJ Tracey’s new 90s inspired track Summertime Shootout.
Fans that want a taste of the new limited-edition McDonald’s Summer line-up will have to move fast, as it’s only around for four more weeks or until stocks last.
