Argos are keeping tight-lipped on the possibility of another PS5 sale.
The retailer have said they have not made any official announcements or issued any updates to customers regarding a sale of the PlayStation 5.
It comes after several social media accounts dedicated to the restocking of the PS5 said Argos’s next sale of the console could be their last.

According to the PS5 Stock UK Twitter Account, Argos is reportedly getting a restock of PS5 consoles as early as this week but they say it could be their final one.
They tweeted: “Upper-end staff in Argos have been informed a restock is planned for ‘mid-August’ which is either this or next week however, as stock is ready, should be this week (August 10-13).
“Oh, and we’ve been informed there will be no more restocks in August at all by Argos. The upcoming restock is the last.”
Argos have neither confirmed nor denied these comments.
An Argos spokesperson said: “We haven’t announced any updates.
“We continue to encourage customers to check back regularly.”
Argos have the Sony PlayStation 5 Console priced at £449.99 and the Digital Console priced at £359.99 – both are out of stock at the moment. Check back here to buy.
Why is the PS5 so popular?
In September 2020 Sony already knew stock levels were not going to meet demand. They promised more pre-orders by Christmas and we did see that in some cases.
A mixture of huge demand for gaming, which rose again in 2020, and the demands of producing a console in a pandemic meant Sony could not keep up with demand for the new console.
Huge titles such as Cyberpunk launches only fuelled this further.
Sony predicts 8.5 million units will have been made by the end of March 2021 and originally said general demand will only be met in the first few months of 2021.
That deadline is well past and they’re still struggling to meet demand nearly a year on.
