As the country emerges from months in lockdown, Brits have been turning their attention to their summer holidays.
There has been a boom in staycations in Britain following the Covid-19 pandemic and its accompanying lockdowns as people try to avoid crowded airports, planes and hotels.
However, instead of booking a trip to North Wales, the Peak District or even a little further afield at the Lake District, you could stay right here in Manchester.
A luxury yacht, located just a 10 minute walk from Media City, has been catching people’s attention online.
Owned by one of Manchester’s most prolific bar and club interior designers, Paul Astill, Jacamar, is 130ft classic yacht moored in Clippers Quay that can sleep between six and 10 people.
However, the owners have emphasised it is not a party boat, nor is it suitable for hens and stags, but it’s certainly somewhere you can come and live the high life.
But all the luxury and that prime location does come at a price. The earliest day we could find availability for is August 31 with one night costing you £340. The next available weekend we could find was in November when the prices jump to £545 a night.
