Roy Keane believes Manchester United still need ‘one or two’ more signings this summer to really challenge for the major honours.
The Reds have already completed the signings of Tom Heaton and Jadon Sancho, while Raphael Varane is expected to be officially unveiled next week.
It represents a solid summer of business for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who led the side to a runners-up position in the Premier League and Europa League last year to continue a now four-year trophy drought.

But with Manchester City adding Jack Grealish for £100m from Aston Villa and Chelsea close to completing a £98m deal to sign former United striker Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, Keane thinks United still need to do more in the transfer market.
Speaking to ITV during their Community Shield coverage, the seven-time Premier League winner said of United’ s business: “Two very good signings, particularly Varane with his experience with the problem at the back. Sancho, a young talented player who did well in Germany. I still think what City have done and Chelsea with Lukaku, United still need one or two into the group to really challenge.”
The Reds are in the market for a defensive midfielder and a right-back this summer, but deals for either aren’t said to be close. United have identified Kieran Trippier as their number one target for the full-back position.
