Drivers can choose to swap 300 Nectar Card points to secure a 5p per litre discount at selected Esso stations. The discount will only apply to the first 60 litres but could help drivers make massive savings at the fuel pump.
Alex Naisby, Director of Digital Marketing and Planning at nectar said making savings were “important to customers”.
He added the deal will help drivers make the most out of everyday spending” and is another “exciting way” to reward customers.
He said: “Our partnership with Esso allows us to provide yet another exciting way to reward our Nectar customers.
“We know that making savings is important to our customers and we are delighted to offer them an always on opportunity to turn their points into discounts on fuel.

Pat Rutherford, Esso retail sales manager said the new deal could have a “cumulative effect on savings”.
He said: “After the year we’ve all had it’s clear that the nation is keen to maximise their savings, which is why we are excited to extend our partnership with Nectar.
“This unique long-term offer allows us to show Brits that using Esso Nectar can have a real cumulative effect on your savings.”
According to Esso, drivers who are yet to sign up to their online app could receive a special fuel discount without paying for any shopping.
Drivers can even redeem money off if they forget to bring their Nectar card with them when topping up.
Drivers who have added their Nectar card to the Esso App can automatically collect points and make savings.
Meanwhile, drivers can order a handy key tag from Nectar to keep on the side of their car keys.
This will ensure drivers are never left without their card while at the petrol station.
