Manchester United’s players touched down in Scotland on Monday for a training camp north of the border, ahead of their final pre-season friendly against Everton on Saturday.
United spent time in Surrey between games against Derby and QPR last month, and will continue to gear up for the new season with a three-day camp in St Andrews, Dundee.
Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, David de Gea and Phil Jones were among the United stars pictured disembarking the plane in what looked like decidedly gloomy weather.
Luke Shaw is also due back this week, as is new signing Jadon Sancho, off the back of their Euro 2020 exploits with England alongside Maguire.

United are hopeful of finalising Raphael Varane’s transfer from Real Madrid in the coming days, although he must quarantine for five days on his arrival in England, so he is unlikely to feature against Everton.
After last week’s 2-2 draw with Brentford at Old Trafford, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that the forgotten man Jones is ready to join in with the first team again, having not played since an FA Cup game at Tranmere in January 2020.
“He is due to start training over the weekend when we’ve got everyone in on Monday, which is a big plus for him,” Solskjaer said.
“I’ve had similar troubles in my career. He’s such a professional, good lad, and it’s great to see him ready to train again and hopefully he can first of all train with us and then hopefully get game time soon.
“If he can play in the Under-23s to start with, or we can arrange something behind closed doors for him, because I know exactly the feeling [of] being out for so long. You just want to feel your way in.
“He’s always served the club, but it was time for him to look after himself and his own health, but now he’s ready to train with us.”
