Inside Futbol.

What?

Everton target Denzel Dumfries returned to training this week – but it has been reported that he will be training on his own as he edges towards an exit.

The 25-year-old is said to be a player that Marcel Brands thinks highly of and his stock rose after he impressed at the rescheduled Euro 2020.

And the report adds that Dumfries wants a move away from PSV, but whilst there is no imminent sign of a transfer, he will train alone ahead of the Eredivisie season.

Ekrem Konur.

What?

With uncertainty around the future of James Rodriguez, he continues to be linked with a move away from Goodison.

Turkish football journalist Ekrem Konur has previously reported that the Blues star would be allowed to leave should an apparent £20m valuation be met.

But the latest from Konur is that the Colombian is still on the radar of AC Milan with the Italians picking up where they left off in terms of negotiations.

He recently spoke out on his future amid talk of a return to Los Blancos.

And here is the latest on the Rodriguez situation from Phil Kirkbride.

What?

Everton are said to be ‘reopening’ talks with the Portuguese midfielder Matheus Nunes.

It has been claimed that ‘initial talks’ were stalled during the process of filling the vacant position left by Carlo Ancelotti after Nuno Espirito Santo was in line to replace the Italian, but talks reportedly reached an impasse when Rafa Benitez took over.

The 22-year-old is said to be priced in the region of £16m.

Here is the inside track on what he could offer, via Elliott Bretland.
